Oh my gosh how do you even choose this week?! I think I will go for Handbags and the glad rags Rod Stewart as it was one of my late aunty’s favourite songs and it was played at her funeral and although it makes me still a bit emotionally wobbly to hear it, it now makes me smile rather than cry when I hear it.

Oh love. I’m very glad it now makes you smile more than cry. It’s such a lovely tune. What a nice way to say goodbye to your aunt listening to that.

I just have one question- did the plane crash survivors practice cannibalism before or after the plane crash? LOL! I don’t think I know the song Fleur, but I LOVE Tiny Dancer. 🙂 Love your lists. And I don’t think I know that Aretha song either. I thought I knew all her songs!

Haha. Let’s hope they didn’t practice it before! Tiny Dancer is a fantastic song. Give Lee Fleur a listen. It’s a very special track. Cheers!

I was doing a paper round in 1972, so I knew about most of the big stories of the year, even if I didn’t understand all of them.

My favourite of this week’s songs is The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.

Starman by any chance? I couldn’t decide between that one and Changes to add to the playlist. Which would you have chosen?
